There are 2 types of extensions that we offer : Classic & Russian volume (both are applied individually).
Classic is simply the application of one single extension on top of one single natural lash. Ratio 1:1
For Russian Volume however, it is the application of 2 to 6 extensions on one single natural lash. Ratio 1: 2-6
A common misconception is that volume lashes are heavy and cause damage to the natural lashes. That is not true as damages caused to natural lashes is due to skills & integrity of the lash technician + whether the correct weight and diameter of extensions is chosen for each individual client. Eyelash extensions, when applied correctly by an extremely experienced technician, should not cause damage to your natural lashes!
If we apply 3 extensions/eye, it’s called 3D. If we apply 5 extensions/eye, it’s called 5D and so on. However, as we move up in volume, we will reduce the type/weight/thickness of the extensions used so that the overall weight is safe and not cause damage to your natural lashes-this is what most places don’t do and still use the same classic lash extension for volume application and this will result in extremely heavy and fake looking extensions.
The most lightweight option we have is 3D as the combined weight of the 3 volume extensions is even lighter than 1 single Classic lash! 3D is the safest option for people with fine/sparse natural lashes as it will help to fill up the gaps and healthier for your natural lashes in the long run if you’re planning to get extensions on a regular basis! Volume lashes will also lasts longer should you have special occasions/holidays. But if you do have heaps of strong and healthy natural lashes, even a Classic full set will look enough on you!
We have many options available to suit different styles and preference however our style is usually natural and classy so we are not able to do dramatic or overly long styles if that’s what you’re after.
We have:
Curl: C (medium curl) and D (strong curl).
We have tried different types of curls in the market and find this two curls most flattering and universal for all eye shapes!
Diameters (mm): 0.05, 0.07, 0.10, 0.12, 0.15 (our experienced technicians will pick one that’s suitable for the health of your natural lashes)
Lengths (mm): 7-14mm.
Colour: Black coloured extensions only.
