Eyebrow tattoo contraindications/Prior to booking in

All permanent cosmetics use the process of inserting pigment into the dermal layer of the skin and is a form of tattooing. All instruments that enter the skin or come in contact with body fluids are disposable and disposed of after use. Health department regulations are strictly adhered to.
Generally, the results are excellent. However, a perfect result is not a realistic expectation. It is usual to expect a touch-up after the healing is completed.
Initially the colour will appear much more vibrant/darker compared to the end result. Usually within 7-10 days the colour will fade 20-30% or more, soften and look more natural.
Pigment used is semi-permanent and will fade overtime and will likely need to be touched-up within 10 months to 18 months. Please note that colour may fade faster on oily skin with large pores.

Please read the following possible contraindications before booking in. If you happen to have any of the contradiction listed below, please refrain from booking and contact us or your physician for advice:

  • **Old tattoo that’s still quite saturated/wanting to change the shape of your old tattoo (this is most likely impossible and you will need to have them removed prior to booking in. Please do not book in and send us an email of your brows first)
  • Haemophilia (bleeder’s disease)
  • High blood pressure
  • Diabetes II
  • HIV positive
  • Hepatitis A.B.C.D.E.F
  • Feverish infection / infectious illnesses
  • Skin anomalies in the treatment zone (warts, melanomas, Vitiligo etc)
  • Skin problem (keloid scars, skin cancer, Eczema, Psoriasis, Rosacea)
  • Roaccutane medication (treat acne) in the last 6 months
  • Immune system disorders
  • Epilepsy
  • Chemotherapy or irradiation
  • Surgery for a past 0.5 year
  • Acute heart/cardiovascular problems
  • Pregnancy or lactation
  • Taking any anticoagulant, blood thinning products
  • Botox/ fillers in the last 1 month around eyebrows
  • Allergic or resistant to numbing products
